Q: Why are your shipping cost the same even for your smaller products?

A: We use a very efficient shipping company which charges a flat fee per shipment. The time and cost of preparing, packaging and getting goods to our cusomers is the same wether an order is of low or high value. This is why we have designed our start-up packs at a reduced cost. These packs contain what we have found to be the extra low cost items that our customers wished they had purchased as soon as they take up Nordic Walking more regularly.

Q: Why are your NORSTIX poles so much cheaper than other brands?

A: When we first opened our Eshop some years ago, we supplied a number of other brands such as Leki and Exel but we found these to be very expensive and it quickly became apparent that this high cost was particularly prohibitive to newcomers to this fabulous new activity. This was when we decided to produce our own range of NORSTIX products which we can offer at a realistic price direct to the public without compromising on quality.

Q: Can I puchase a single pole?

A: Unfortunately due to the large size selection we carry and the fact that our stock is produced in pairs, we can not split our stock to supply single poles. However our competitve prices mean that a new pair of NORSTIX poles costs somewhere near the cost of a single pole from other brands!

Q: Do you deliver to the Channel Islands?

A: We do not ship to the Channel Islands due to the very high charge with our current shippers (£44). However, our customers have made us aware of a service which unables us to ship to a UK mainland address so that you may get your order to be forwarded to you at a reasonable cost.

Q: Which days do you deliver?

A: Our shippers do not deliver on weekends. Under normal circumpstances for orders placed before   3 pm Monday to Thursday, you can expect your delivery the next morning (not in Northern Ireland or Scottish Highlands which takes an extra day). Orders placed from Thursday 3 pm through to Monday   3 pm are delivered Tuesday am.

Q: I want to place an order but do not hold a PayPal account

A: We use PayPal as our payment processor for customer safety reasons. But you do not have to hold a PayPal account or pay through your PayPal account. Once on the PayPal payment page, you will be offered the choice of paying with any regular credit or debit card and process your payment through this card.
